Bangkok is fast becoming a city dedicated to celebrating and promoting the country’s art industry. Small, independent galleries abound, local artists are showing exhibitions on an international stage and Bangkok-based galleries give international artists a local audience.

Together with some of Bangkok’s key players in the art industry, this discussion will take a broad look at the different eco-systems in the industry and explore the idea of an artist as a creative entrepreneur. We will hear from artists and curators, jewelry designers and theatre directors on their experience, opinions and the business of the art industry in Thailand.

Our speakers for this discussion will be Karma Sirikogar – Visual Artist, Atty Tantivit – ATTA Gallery, and Nikan Bow Wasinondh – Wonderfruit. A final panelist will be announced shortly.

This event is open to anyone currently working in the art industry or interested in the field. Men are encouraged to attend and we welcome your input into the discussion!
