Save Sungei Road Market is community-initiated platform garnering support to appeal against the government’s intended closure of the 80-year old Sungei Road Market. The 80-year old market is slated to close on 10 July 2017, threatening the livelihood and dignity of the 200+ vendors consisting of Singapore pioneers.
Join members of the group and take a guided tour of Sungei Road Market before heading to DECK for a closing dialogue discussing the progress made against the closure of the historic market.
3pm: Meet at Blk 31 Kelantan Lane Coffeeshop
4pm: Walk to DECK for closing discussion
