Celebrate Singapore’s upcoming birthday at the Istana Art Event! Enjoy free* entry to the Istana grounds, join the On-the-Spot Art Competition, and explore various activities and workshops, organised by museums and heritage institutions!

ON-THE-SPOT ART COMPETITION
10am – 2pm

Calling all 3- to 12-year-olds*! Gather your art supplies and join the Istana Art Event On-the-Spot Art Competition! With the theme ‘One Nation Together’, share with us special stories of how Singaporeans unite and stand together as one country.

The first 1,000 participants to submit their artworks will receive an exclusive Istana Art Event goodie bag and enjoy free entry to the Istana Main Building.

The top 3 winners of each category will receive prizes awarded by President Tony Tan.

CATEGORIES:
Junior: ages 3 to 6
Intermediate: ages 7 to 12

PRIZES:
Second Prize $150
Third Prize $100
6 x Merit Prizes $80

ARTS & HERITAGE VILLAGE
9am – 5pm

Organised by museums and heritage institutions in Singapore, there’s something for everyone in the family at the Arts & Heritage Village! Create special souvenirs to bring home, from brooches to clay figurines, and even photo printouts when you hashtag your Instagram photographs with #IstanaArtEvent!
