Born out of the dystopian landscape of Las Vegas, visual and sound artist Tommy Hanson creates work that highlights the human narrative on its discourse between the physical and nonphysical worlds. The works aim to strip social constructs to their most primitive states. These works explore alternative methods of sound synthesis, manipulation, amplification, and interaction. His research is focused on the use of technology to alter human perception, enhance human expression, and raise sonic awareness.
Sound artist and a composer who works with sculpture and electronic circuit. Liew’s work is known for its ecstatic and unpredictable event. Often expresses a sensory of flexibility and impermanence behavior. Her works ranges from music composition, the visual arts, instrument design and real-time performance. Liew seeks to discover new ways to engage physiological responses associated with sound and space. Her work has been exhibited in USA, Germany, Japan and Thailand.
