Kentaro Hiroki, Japanese artist who resides in Thailand, works on drawings and sculptures. Most of his drawings reproduce useless objects such as receipt, train ticket, cigarette case that were littered or already used by him. His memories were kept in those drawings. Kentaro’s works are similar to Arte Povera, an art movement after the World War II which its value counts on ordinary materials and the meaning of art.
For his 3rd solo exhibition in Thailand at Bangkok University Gallery, Hiroki who has experienced Thai Political divergence chooses to work on small medium which is meaningful than it should be.
