Didier ‘JABA’ Mathieu: A Solo Exhibition

In conjunction with Festejo Colombiano (A Colombian Celebration), graffiti writer Didier Jaba Mathieu brings a piece of his world to Kult Gallery. Through his artwork, expect the eclecticism of the Futurist metropolis along with the warmth of an urban culture authenticity. This is evident in the presentation of both – original drawings that were later blown up to create wall murals, and life-size graffiti works completed on canvas.

Also on view are photographs of murals the Colombian-Belgian artist completed all over the world, both legally and without permission. Various sizes of pieces from a canvas-based mural JABA completed just last month is up for sale as well, allowing Kult Gallery’s visitors to own a piece of his puzzle.

Presented in an intimate gallery setting, his notoriety is both infectious and inviting.
