Hello second week of November. Continuing from last week, Hong Kong Art Week 2016 is running from 27th October – 9th November. This event consist of many art exhibitions from galleries in Hong Kong, you can see some of the exhibition’s information from below.

BACC – Thai*Sea*Scape 2016
Group Photo Exhibition hosted by Somchai Suriyasathaporn, Jittima Sa-ngeamsunthron with students of CameraEyes School of Photography. Showcasing more than 30 monochrome fine art photographs printed with best quality in 30 inch wide.

JAM – The Loves of a Blonde
A young woman in a small town sleeps with a band member from Prague, and after he does not contact her, she goes to his home and causes upheaval for him and his parents.

Neilson Hays Library – Pop-up traditional camera obscura photo booth
Bangkok-based French artist Landry Dunand will have a pop-up traditional Afghan photo booth at the library at the biannual Neilson Hays Library book sale on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 12-13.

ArteFACT; Unearthing Relics of the Future explores the concept of personal and public spaces within the context and effects of modernisation in Singapore through installations, objects, navigations and memories.

Michel Mouffe explores the foundations of painting by challenging its limits. His works creating translucent layers that veil each other and blend into an almost immaterial that result in an experience of spatial relationships.

Contemporary by Angela Li – Precised Fictitiousness
The first solo exhibition in Hong Kong of Beijing-based artist Wu Didi. The exhibition features 9 gongbi oil paintings that Wu describes the spirituality and immortality of nature’s simplest elements.

Sundaram Tagore Gallery – Edward Burtynsky- Essential Elements
Edward Burtynsky: Essential Elements, examining Burtynsky’s work across four decades. This original approach provides a sense of both his visual language and his exploration of the dilemmas at the heart of our globalized world that reflect Burtynsky’s view of the world.
