SoA+D School of Architecture and Design - KMUTT - Industrial Designers - 22-03-16

Where: School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), 49 Soi Thiantalae 25 | Bangkhunthian-Chaitalae Road

SoA+D alumni return to KMUTT Bang Khun Thian campus to inspire, share their success stories, and be a source of wisdom for current students, professors, and visitors. The 5th scheduled talk of the series focuses on Communication Design, with talks by creative director cinematographer and visual designer Mr. Wattanapume Laisuwanchai (Best) and producer, illustrator/animator Mr. Nuntawat Jarusruangnil (Nutt).

JAM – Cine Club (“Point Blank”, 60s Psychedelic & Pulp Month)

Jam’s cinema club theme for March is 60’s psychedelic and pulp films, hosted by Ben Edwards. This week’s movie will be Point Blank, directed by John Boorman and released in 1967. Screening starts at 20:00.

Rikyu by Boy Tokyo – “We Have Just One World” Exhibition

Hair salon and art space, Rikyu presents an exhibition of prints, drawings and embroidered drawings by Wittamon Niwattichai, a visiting lecturer at Chulalongkorn’s Faculty of Architecture. Following the opening, there will be a haircut presentation by Rikyu from 20:00 onwards.

Brooklyn-based photographer Jesper Haynes showcases an exhibition of images taken while observing Williamsburg nightly happenings from his four-story walkup. The exhibition will run through 12 April.
