Alliance Française de Bangkok – Photo Exhibition by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Alliance française de Bangkok - Photo exhibition - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry - Passions & Inspirations

When: Tuesday, June 28 through July 12 (opening from 19:00)
Where: Alliance Française Bangkok, 179 Thanon Witthayu, Lumpini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok

Alliance Française Bangkok, the Latécoère Foundation and the Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation present “Passion & Inspirations” this Tuesday, July 28th. The exhibit features exclusive historical photographs documenting the aviation firsts of Pierre-Georges Latécoère, founder of the first french airmail company, Aéropostale, in 1918.

Bangkok-based French artist Arnaud Nazare-Aga will also exhibit his collection of sculptures featuring the Little Prince. Admission is free.

JAM – Cine Club “Factory Girl” (New York Urban Legend Month)

With this month’s theme being “New York Urban Legend Month”, JAM screens Factory Girl – directed by George Hickenlopper (2006) – this Wednesday, June 29th at 20:00. The dress code is Warhol Superstar.

As part of the Bangkok International Children’s Theatre Festival 2016, BACC and The Japan Foundation presents dance performance “Live Bone” this Saturday, July 2nd through July 3rd. Created by three united dancers/choreographers hailing from Japan, Live Bone is themed on body parts, their functions, and messages on life and death.

Chomp debuts it’s latest exhibition, “Heart and Nerve and Sinew” by illustrator/painter Kat Jones, this July 2nd through July 31st. Jones’ abstract, spontaneously-created pen and ink drawings act as complex and highly-detailed studies into basic shapes.

Museum Siam holds “Make A Zine” workshop as part of its Book Festival this Saturday, July 2. There is also set to be an exhibition of 18+ books, an international library as well as the chance to swap and shop for new magazines. Food and beverage will be on sale. The workshop is to be conducted in Thai language.

JAM Cafe – Kraftmetix Exhibition

Where: Jam, 41 Soi Rong Nam Kang (Charoen Rat Soi 1), Sathorn – Surasak BTS Exit 2, Bangkok

Vegan & cruelty free cosmetics brand, Pim Cosmetix, presents “Kraftmetix Exhibiton” a collaboration between 30 artists, designers, illustrators and photographers who will trade their lipsticks for paintbrushes to create colorful and creative art pieces. Activities include live paintings, lucky draws and more. Free admission.
