The School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) presents its annual alumni talk series this Tuesday, March 8. SoA+D alumnis return to KMUTT to inspire, share their success stories, talk about their career paths and offer insights on the right path to success. Everyone is invited, and admission is free. Jam’s cinema club theme for March is 60’s psychedelic and pulp films, hosted by Ben Edwards. This week’s movie will be Tokyo Drifter, directed by Seijun Suzuki and released in 1966. Next weeks movie is set to be Psych-Out (Richard Rush, 1968). Screening starts at 20:00.

Russian-born photo artist based in Bangkok, Olga Volodina uses symbolism to represent fragile human consciousness influenced by mass media, the hypocrisy of modern society and the average human being. The event features a performance, screening, light installation and photography exhibit by Olga Volodina, Cristina Maria Pintea and Alex Im!x.

New Narathiwat art space and a welcome addition to Bangkok’s cultural map, Gallery VER presents its debut exhibition, ‘Wett’ by the pioneering Chiang Mai based artist, Mit Jai Inn on March 10. Mit Jai Inn, a pioneer in the development of the contemporary Chiang Mai contemporary art scene, will be exhibiting a selection of his works which hover between painting and sculpture.

Cho Why’s upcoming event will consist of a showcase of photographs taken by Argentinian freelance photographer Walter Astrada and a casual intro talk about ‘The Journey’ where the artist will share anecdotes and experiences as he goes along with his Royal Enfield. Following the opening, Astrada will be conducting a 5-day workshop at Cho Why (March 14-18th, 2016). For more details, check out Craftsmanship of a Reportage’.

The Jam Factory, The Never Ending Summer and HER LONDON collaborates to host a progressive dinner talk evening to connect guests from two capitals, London & Bangkok. The evening will begin with inspiring discussions from 5 guests, presenting work they created specifically for the event under the theme ‘A Self Portrait’.

The International Innovative Craft Fair 2015 (IICF), is set to take place at BITEC from March 10-13. Organized by the Support Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand (Sacict), the fair will feature more than 300 booths showcasing handicrafts and local products from the ASEAN region.

Numthong Gallery presents ‘Contour’ by Angkrit Ajchariyasophon and Tawatchai Pattanaporn, an exhibition of abstract paintings and contemporary photos produced by the two Thai artists following their Artist in Residence Program at Rikuzentakata in Japan. The project is under the support of the Japan Foundation, Bangkok.
