DESCRIPTION:Last year\, on May 2nd \n“The Other room : exploring the other’s life” The Art party in abandoned place. It’s our first project to support arts in Bangkok. The audiences came to visit us\, observed and peeped the site-specific arts which created by many talented artists before renovating the abandoned building to be Thong Lor Art Space Bangkok \nWith your best supporting\, we have presented many art and performing projects since then. And this year\, we thought that it’s time to do something crazy like The Other room’s project. \nThis year\, on February 20\nWe will present you this project “Space Oh these [cra]ZY” \nit’s not the long journey of Odysseus after Trojan War or finding truth behind Monolith stone by Odyssey’s crew in the space. \n“Not about the universe but the people who lived there” \nThe site specific performance project under the idea of something supernatural\, incredible and unbelievable relies on the faith in religion and science.\nSometime people pay attention to some thing nonsense for the others but make sense for them. \nSomething is unreasonable but believable.\nSomething cult!! \nInviting 9 artists per week\, from theatre\,performing art\, fine art\, graffiti\, film and installation art to occupied 9 spaces( rectangular\, triangular\, and circular space) \, around 2.5 x 2.5 meters which defined by the tape\, each week. \nAnd these are some artists who will take us journey with their pieces\,\nIMIMAGEMONSTER : GRAFFITI \nAmy Diener : Painting \nKarma Sirikogar : Street Art / Installation \nDelfin Solomon ★ : Stand Up Comedy \nBangkok Lyrical Lunacy : Spoken words poetry \nRachel E. Szewczuk : Painting\, Street Art\, Graff Art \nPavel Whitewell : Art-Painting \nChristian Hogue : DIGITAL REALTIME INSTALLATION \nTANQUEREL BRUNO : VIDEO \nWichaya Artamart : Reading Performance \nBen Busarakamwong : Theatre \nSasapin Siriwanij : Storytelling and Installation \nwith another 15 artists and another 15 pieces!!! \nArtists all independently creates their space under the concept Space Oh – These –(cra)Zy in their ways.\nNine spaces locate on \nthe Art Library Café (2nd floor)\nPerformance laboratory(3rd floor)\nAbandoned rooftop gallery (5th floor) \nEach week\, newly 9 artists will be invited to present their work in different defined space and also some of the pieces from the week before will be remained in their space.
