DESCRIPTION:Dear RMA friends \nYou are warmly invited to join the exhibition opening of “Kalopsia” by Soichiro Shimizu at RMA institute/Gallery\, 10th April 2015\, 19.00 – 21.30 \n…………………………………………………………. \n“KALOPSIA”\nPhotography exhibition \n10th April until 10th May 2015 \nRMA Institute is very pleased to announce a solo exhibition by Soichiro Shimizu \nKALOPSIA builds on previous sculptural works in which Soichiro used the roots of trees once considered sacred as his raw material and underlaying form. In Soichiro’s words\, a “lingering divinity” exists in this wood. His new series moves beyond the corpses and makes use of the living trees themselves. He has created temporary sculptural installations which encompass his chosen trees\, following their existing form. These sculptures are photographed\, freezing their temporal\, created appearance. The resulting photographs become the objects of the works; he allows the trees and whatever exists within them to carry on\, with as little disturbance as possible. \nThe photographs will be exhibited at RMA Institute from 10th April until 10th May 2015. An opening reception will be held at 7:00 pm\, 10th April 2015 \nGallery open from 9 am. – 7 pm.\nTuesday – Sunday\nT: +66 2663 0809 \n…………………………………………………………………… \nเชิญเพื่อนๆอาร์ เอม เอ\, \nร่วมงานเปิดนิทรรศการภาพถ่าย “คาลอปเซีย” โดย โซอิชิโร ชิมิซุ\nในวันศุกร์ที่ 10 เมษายน 2558 ณ อาเอมเอ อินสติทูท เริ่มเวลา 19.00 – 21.30 น.\n……………………………………………….. \n“คาลอปเซีย” \nนิทรรศการภาพถ่าย โดย โซอิชิโร ชิมิซุ\n10 เมษายน ถึง 10 พฤษภาคม 2558 \nคาลอปเซีย เป็นงานที่พัฒนามาจากงานประติมากรรมในชุดก่อนหน้านี้ของโซอิชิโร ซึ่งในงานชุดก่อนหน้านี้นั้นนับได้ว่าเขาให้ความเคารพกับรากของต้นไม้การสร้างผลงานทั้งในฐานะที่เป็นวัตถุดิบและนัยะรูปแบบที่แฝงไว้ในผลงาน ในผลงานชุดใหม่นี้เขาได้พัฒนาก้าวข้ามจากการใช้ซากต้นไม้และหันมาใช้ต้นไม้ที่มีชีวิตอยู่แทน ในครั้งนี้เขาได้สร้างประติมากรรมชั่วคราวโอบล้อมต้นไม้ที่เขาคัดสรรล้อไปกับรูปทรงตามธรรมชาติของต้นไม้ งานประติมากรรมนั้นถูกถ่ายเป็นภาพ เพื่อแช่แข็งความชั่วคราวนั้นไว้เผยเป็นภาพลักษณ์ขึ้นมา ผลของการสร้างสรรค์ทั้งหมดออกมาเป็นภาพถ่าย ในงานชุดนี้โซอิชิโรปล่อยให้ต้นไม้และอะไรก็ตามที่สถิตย์อยู่ในนั้นยังคงดำรงอยู่ต่อไป และถูกรบกวนจากเขาน้อยที่สุดเท่าที่น้อยได้ \nอา เอม เอ\nสุขุมวิท 22 ซอยสายน้ำทิพย์ 2\nคอลงเตย กรุงเทพ \nแกลลอรี่เปิด 9 โมงเช้า ถึง 1 ทุ่ม\nวันอังคาร ถึง วันอาทิตย์\nโทร 02 663 0809
