DESCRIPTION:(For Thai please scroll down) \nOn the Way # Exhibition by Somboon Hormtienthong @ Numthong Gallery\n13 December 2014 – 31 January 2015 \nAfter the “Raj Lersouang and Somboon Hormtienthong” show in 2013\, Somboon Hormtienthong\, one of the most experienced and skillful artist has returned to celebrated New Year with his new series of artworks in the solo exhibition\, “On the way” \nThis series of artworks is about places where Somboon and his buddy (motorbike) visited over the past two years. Each place was recorded as realistic drawing\, which describe Somboon’s experience at that place\, and make us feel like we are standing there. He then translated the realistic drawing of each place into an abstract form\, which was juxtaposed with the realistic one. \nOpening Reception : 13 December 2014\, 6:00 pm. at Numthong Gallery at Aree\,  \n72/3 soi Aree 5 (North)\, Phahonyothin 7\, Phahonyothin Rd.\, Phyathai\, Bangkok /  \nBTS : Ari station – Exit no. 3 \n=========== \nนิทรรศการ On the Way  \nโดย สมบูรณ์ หอมเทียนทอง \n13 ธันวาคม 2557 – 31 มกราคม 2558 \nOn the way นิทรรศการเดี่ยวโดยสมบูรณ์ หอมเทียนทอง ศิลปินมากด้วยฝีมือและประสบการณ์กลับมาสร้างผลงานชุดใหม่ให้แก่วงการศิลปะส่งท้ายปีนี้อีกครั้งหลังจากที่ได้มีนิทรรศการราช เลอสรวง และเด็กชายสมบูรณ์ หอมเทียนทองเมื่อกลางปี2556 ที่ผ่านมา  \nผลงานชุดนี้มีเรื่องราวเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับสถานที่ต่างๆที่ศิลปินเดินทางไปกับมอเตอร์ไซต์คู่ใจตลอดระยะเวลาสองปี เพื่อเก็บบันทึกเป็นภาพความประทับใจ สถานที่และเส้นทางแต่ละแห่งถูกบันทึกเรื่องราวและถ่ายทอดผ่านลายเส้นที่แสดงความสมจริงราวกับเข้าไปยืนอยู่ในสถานที่แห่งนั้นด้วยตนเอง ประกอบกับการตีความเชิงสัญญะของศิลปินต่อสถานที่แห่งนั้น แล้วลดทอนรูปทรงจนกลายเป็นภาพนามธรรมและนำมาจัดวางประชันกับภาพเหมือนจริง  \nพิธีเปิดนิทรรศการ วันเสาร์ที่ 13 ธันวาคม 2557 เวลา 18:00น. เป็นต้นไป \nณ นำทอง แกลเลอรี อารีย์ (Numthong Gallery at Aree) \n72/3 ซ.อารีย์ 5 (ฝั่งเหนือ) พหลโยธิน 7\, ถนนพหลโยธิน\, กรุงเทพฯ / BTS : สถานี อารีย์ – ทางออกหมายเลข 3
