DESCRIPTION:Kula Lumpur Photography Fair (KLPF) 2019 from 23 to the 25th of August 2019\nAt VIVA Expo Hall\n2019 Annual Photography Exhibition\nTheme: My Hometown \nMy Hometown” “Kampungku” “我的家乡”\nIn conjunction with Merdeka (Independence) month in August\, the Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival spreads the message of love to your own homeland wherever you are from.\nThe place where we came from.\nThe place where we were born and raised.\nThe place where we belong.\nHome is where we love and appreciate. \nAbout the Festival\nThe Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival (KLPF) is the hottest and biggest imaging event in Malaysia and possibly Southeast Asia. As travel and photography always go hand-in-hand\, the KLPF also include activities in the travel section. Each year photographers and travelers converge at the KLPF to attend the seminars from industry leaders\, interact with experts\, build new relationships\, experience new products and win attractive prizes. \nNew programs are introduced from time to time to add value to the festival. From the year 2010\, the organizers introduced the KLPF Photo-creator of the Year Award\, a biennial event to recognize and promote emerging photographers from Malaysia. Since 2012\, the travel section is given more prominence with a dedication to travel\, that is\, the (FITE) Free Independent Travel Exchange. Packed with interactive programs\, the FITE is the platform for travel industry operators/organizations to engage with travelers. The first KLPF was held on 14-November 1997 and has since become an annual event to look forward to. This road was recently upgraded to cater to the increasing traffic volume.\nThe strategic location also grants prominent visibility to those traveling along Jalan Loke Yew\, capturing the attention of thousands of commuters passing the mall every day. Over 350\,000 households with a population of 1.5 million living within the immediate 15 minutes’ drive time catchment of Viva Shopping Mall.\nBeing a mere 10-minutes’ drive from Kuala Lumpur’s renowned ‘Golden Triangle’ and various hotspots in the city center\, Viva Shopping Mall is set to draw shoppers from across the Klang Valley as well as from other states in Malaysia.
