DESCRIPTION:MYA” Exhibition by ‘Paktai Latin’ (Southern Latin) Group of Artists\nFeatured exhibition with Photo Bangkok Festival 2015\nWhat will happen when Thai Southern Blood artist Sakwut Wisesmanee becomes a curator? \nThis eclectic collection of famous southern artists are exhibited together for the first time in this exciting “MYA” Exhibition. ‘Sakwut’ sees spiciness(the signature of southern Thai food) in their work. So he gave them the keyword “MYA” to produce their artwork. \nThe word ‘MYA’ is Southern Thai Language means ‘Women’. Sakwut put the famous fashion photographers together under the group name ‘Paktai Latin’ (Southern Latin). But they are more than just skillful fashion photographers – their photography is art. \nThese notable artists’ names include:\nChamni Thipmanee (owner of Chamni’s Eye Studio)\,\nNopadon Chotasiri (The legendary photographer of Lalana Magazine)\,\nAmarit Chusuwan (The Dean of Painting\, Sculpture and Printing Faculty\, Silpakorn University)\,\nChira (Neng) Wichaisuthikul (Trend leading photographer)\,\nSurat (Jo) Jariyawattanawijit (The very top fashion photographer)\nSurasak (Rang) Ittirit (The most popular photographer) \n“Women are at their most attractive when they are naked” says Sakwut.\nIn this exhibition Sakwut will also be showing his own portrait artwork (only just for this exhibition).\nHalf of the artists chose to reveal women’s body without clothes.\nRevealing the feelings she hides as well as the artist’s feelings.\nThe other half of the artists chose to express their feelings in photographs when the women are still wearing clothes. \n“Women” exposes the female form with all her attractive charm and grace through the artist’s individual perspective.\nAs we know that southern men are spicy\, blunt and decisive.\nHowever the style of this group of artists’ work remains respectful & demure but always with southern Thai-style. \nThis exhibition celebrates not only the beauty & elegance of women\, but we are simultaneously captivated by the artists’ skill and their unique vision. \nOpening ceremony: Friday 4th September 2015\, Start from 16.30 hrs.\nActivities: Talk with ‘Sakwut Wisesmanee’ about the exhibition and you will know that the artist does not have just a great artwork he has a unique vision.
