And if you wish to go anywhere you must run twice as fast as that.”\n― Lewis Carroll\, Alice in Wonderland (1865) \nCompared to previous generations\, Hong Kong media artists in Generation Y face a new set of cultural and geopolitical factors fixated by textbook-history particularly in the postcolonial context. One World Exposition 2 set out to re-examine this analogy. Despite the overarching common features of generation Y\, the artistic practices of Chris Cheung (H0NH1M)\, Tang Kwok Hin and Morgan Wong vary vastly\, ranging from innovative means of art making\, intimate aesthetic approaches\, to existential narratives.
