DESCRIPTION:BACC Art Talk 2017\n“Lesson Abroad Series” 2\nSecond Talk – Experience from Taiwan\, led by Ms. Margaret Shiu (Bamboo Curtain Studio Founder\, New Taipei City)\n27 July 2017 (Thursday)\, 16.00 – 18.00\nAt Friends of BACC room\, 6th floor\nModerated by Dr. Paramaporn Sirikulchayanont (Director of Art Centre\, Silpakorn University) \nThe second Art Talk of BACC of “Lesson Abroad Series” will be on 27th of July (Thursday)\, led by Ms. Margaret Shiu\, the founder of the Bamboo Curtain Studio\, New Taipei City\, which is a major model of Asian and international circles for its active role in promoting an exchange program on contemporary arts\, as well as in conserving and regenerating a new context for old valuable architectural spaces through art and creative activities. \nDespite her background on Economics\, Margaret Shiu has advocated for international cultural exchanges and reuse of space as art facilities for urban regeneration. Due to her many contacts in the central administration\, this prominent Taiwanese cultural activist has succeeded in saving lots of interesting old industrial buildings for creative space for art. As the director of an alternative space\, the Bamboo Curtain Studio\, she has activated many issues on artist´s role in cultural\, social and environmental development and has networked with various international art organizations for research and collaborations. \nThis program is suitable for those with an interest in architectural regeneration with activities\, cultural management with collaborative strategies and cultural exchange programs. Besides the subject her own organization and personal experiences\, the speaker will share the context of contemporary art & culture scenes of Taiwan\, and open the floor to the audience to both share and ask questions. \nBACC has organized the Art Talk program for three years. The 2017 series is held under the theme “Lesson Abroad”\, with the focus on major movements\, trends\, lessons\, experiences and strategies of the international circle of art & culture management. These can be a useful case study for local audiences to reflect on the current Thai scene. Both local and international speakers will join in at least three events in this years’ series. \n**Lecture is conducted in English\, with Thai translation and free of charge\nNo reservation is required.\nFor more information\, please contact education@bacc.or.th or 02 214 6630 ext. 519 \n  \nศิลปะสนทนา 2560 : BACC Art Talk 2017\n“Lesson Abroad Series (บทเรียนจากต่างแดน)” ครั้งที่ 2\nณ ห้อง Friends of BACC ชั้น 6 หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร\nครั้งที่ 2 – ประสบการณ์จากไต้หวันเสวนาโดย Margaret Shiu (Bamboo Curtain Studio\, New Taipei City)\nวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 27 กรกฎาคม 2560 เวลา 16.00 น. – 18.00 น.\nดำเนินรายการ โดย ดร. ปรมพร ศิริกุลชยานนท์ (ผู้อำนวยการ หอศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร) \nกิจกรรม Art Talk ครั้งที่สองในหัวข้อร่วม “Lesson Abroad Series (บทเรียนจากต่างแดน)” ของปีนี้ จะจัดขึ้นในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 27 เวลา 16.00 น. – 18.00 น. โดยมี Ms. Margaret Shiu ผู้ก่อตั้ง Bamboo Curtain Studio ณ นคร New Taipei City ต้นแบบสำคัญหนึ่งของเอเซียและนานาชาติด้านการส่งเสริมกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนทางด้านศิลปะร่วมสมัยระหว่างประเทศ รวมถึงเป็นตัวอย่างที่กล่าวขวัญด้านการอนุรักษ์และรังสรรค์บริบทใหม่ให้กับพื้นที่ทางสถาปัตยกรรมเก่าอันทรงคุณค่าผ่านกิจกรรมทางศิลปะ\nแม้ว่าจะมีพื้นเพมาทางสายเศรษฐศาสตร์ Margaret Shiuได้อุทิศตนมาอย่างต่อเนื่องกับกิจกรรมด้านการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวัฒนธรรมระหว่างประเทศและด้านการปรับปรุงพื้นที่ที่ถูกทอดทิ้งให้นำกลับมาใช้สอยใหม่ จากการที่เธอรู้จักบุคคลมากมายในองค์กรต่างๆ นักกิจกรรมทางวัฒนธรรมคนสำคัญของไต้หวันผู้นี้สามารถปรับเปลี่ยนให้อาคารโรงงานเก่าหลายที่กลายเป็นพื้นที่ของกิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์ อีกทั้งองค์กร Bamboo Curtain Studio ที่เธอเป็นผู้ก่อตั้งได้รณรงค์และส่งเสริมบทบาทการมีส่วนร่วมของศิลปินต่อการพัฒนาด้านวัฒนธรรม สังคม ลิ่งแวดล้อม รวมถึงสร้างเครือข่ายกับองค์กรต่างๆทั้งในระดับประเทศและนานาชาติ\nกิจกรรมครั้งนี้เหมาะกับผู้ที่สนใจงานด้านการอนุรักษ์สถาปัตยกรรมด้วยกิจกรรม งานบริหารกิจกรรมทางศิลปะ งานการจัดการวัฒนธรรมด้วยยุทธศาสตร์การประสานเชื่อมต่อองค์กรภาคต่างๆเข้าด้วยกันตลอดจนศิลปินที่สนใจไปร่วมกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างประเทศ (Exchange program) ต่างๆ\nนอกเหนือไปจากเนื้อหาที่เกี่ยวกับองค์กรและประสบการณ์การทำงานส่วนตัวแล้ว Ms. Margaret Shiu จะอภิปรายบริบทของวงการศิลปวัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัยของไต้หวัน รวมถึงเปิดโอกาสให้ตั้งคำถามและร่วมเสวนาประเด็นต่างๆที่เชื่อมโยงด้วย\nอนึ่ง หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร ได้จัดกิจกรรมศิลปะสนทนา (BACC Art Talk 2017) มาอย่างต่อเนื่องซึ่งในปี พ.ศ. 2560 นี้ จะจัดในหัวข้อร่วม “Lesson Abroad Series (บทเรียนจากต่างแดน)” โดยเน้นหนักประเด็นด้านความเคลื่อนไหวและปรากฏการณ์ที่สำคัญ บทเรียนที่ได้จากประสบการณ์ที่ผ่านมา ยุทธศาสตร์ที่น่าสนใจ และแนวโน้มของการจัดการกิจกรรมทางทัศนศิลป์และศิลปวัฒนธรรมในระดับนานาชาติต่างๆทั้งนี้เพื่อเป็นกรณีศึกษาให้กับผู้เข้าร่วมฟังและร่วมเสวนา ในการมองสะท้อนกลับต่อสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นกับประเทศไทยในปัจจุบัน และมีวิทยากรทั้งจากต่างประเทศและในประเทศมาร่วมอย่างน้อยสามครั้งในปีนี้ \nดำเนินการเสวนาด้วยภาษาอังกฤษ และมีแปลเป็นภาษาไทยประกอบ\nไม่ต้องสำรองที่นั่งล่วงหน้า และไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม\nสอบถามข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมได้ที่ฝ่ายการศึกษา 02-214-6630-8 ต่อ 519 หรือ education@bacc.or.th
