DESCRIPTION:Kyoko Abe at Akko Art Gallery\nAbout the art exhibition opening on 15th November 2014 \n“Kamaishi\, the City that I Love” By Kyoko Abe at Akko Art Gallery\nSince the first solo exhibition we held of Bangkok-based Kyoko Abe back in 1998\, the Japanese artist’s popularity has steadily increased to the point where her collectors now exist all over the world. As a former illustrator\, her choice of colours and mode of expression is unique\, which leads to any room in which her painting is displayed become vibrant.\nKyoko’s greatest allure is how her love of the subject overflows out of the painting\, seeping here and there out of the canvas and grabbing an emotional connection with the viewer.\nThe 6th solo exhibition we are holding of Kyoko Abe is entitled “Kamaishi\, the City that I Love”. After the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami\, Akko Art Gallery and Kyoko Abe collaborated with the help of donors in a volunteer project to produce a Wall of Hope: an 8 x 43 metres long wall at the devastated Kamaishi Cosmos Park. During one year\, Kyoko commuted multiple times to Kamaishi and with the cooperation of volunteers locally as well as from all-over Japan\, completed the project in March of 2014. The opening was covered by media and TV from all over Japan.\nThis huge Wall of Hope has now become a landmark in Kamaishi. Such a project could only be completed with the cooperation and love shown by the Kamaishi residents. It was not surprising\, therefore\, that Kyoko also fell in love with Kamaishi and the scenery\, the people\nand the memories have been translated into paintings. The centre piece of this exhibition is the same as the title and will be a quadtych of panels 1×1.5 metres depicting Kamaishi’s Spring\, Summer\, Autumn and Winter. Surely such a bright depiction of Japan’s four seasons has never been seen anywhere else. \n============== \n“คามาอิชิที่ฉันรัก “\nเธอเริ่มต้นจากการเป็นนักวาดภาพประกอบอิสระ\nงานของเธอนั้นเป็นงานที่แสดงให้เห็นสีพิเศษที่ทำให้ห้องที่แขวนรูปนั้นจะเปล่งประกาย\nงานของเธอทำให้เราได้เห็นความรักท่วมท้นที่เธอมีต่อสิ่งที่เธอวาด ซึ่งแสดงออกอยู่ทุกตารางนิ้วบนผืนผ้าใบ\nโดดเด่นออกมาจนเป็นที่ประจักษ์แก่ผู้ชมทุกท่าน \n“คามาอิชิที่ฉันรัก “ เป็นการแสดงภาพเขียนครั้งที่หก ร่วมกับ อักโกะ อาร์ท แกลเลอรี่\nหลังจากเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวและคลื่นสึนามิปี 2011 เคียวโกะได้ใช้เวลาหนึ่งปีเต็ม\nที่เมืองคามาอิชิ เพื่อวาดภาพแห่งความหวังลงบนกำแพงยาว 43 เมตร สูง 8 เมตร\nด้วยความร่วมมือจากคนในท้องถิ่น และอาสาสมัครทั่วประเทศญี่ปุ่น\nภาพนี้สำเร็จสมบูรณ์ เมื่อเดือนมีนาคม ปีนี้\nโดยมีรายการโทรทัศน์หลายแห่งในญี่ปุ่นมาทำสารคดีเกี่ยวกับกำแพงแห่งความหวัง\nกำแพงที่มีภาพเขียนของเคียวโกะ ได้กลายเป็นสถานที่สำคัญของเมืองคามาอิชิ\nที่กำแพงนี้สำเร็จได้ก็เพราะทุกคนที่มาช่วยนั้น มาทำด้วยความรักที่มีต่อกันและกัน\nและนี่เองเป็นเหตุให้เคียวโกะ ตกหลุมรักเมืองคามาอิชิอย่างช่วยไม่ได้\nการแสดงงานภาพเขียน “คามาอิชิที่ฉันรัก” ครั้งนี้ เป็นเรื่องของผู้คน สถานที่ต่าง ๆ ในเมืองคามาอิชิ\nจากภาพเขียนทั้งหมด มีภาพเขียนขนาด 1 x 1.5 เมตร จำนวนสี่ภาพที่แสดงถึงสี่ฤดูกาลในคามาอิชิ\nคือ ฤดูใบไม้ผลิ ฤดูร้อน ฤดูใบไม้ร่วง และฤดูหนาว\nแน่นอน …..ภาพดังกล่าวจะช่วยทำให้หัวใจของผู้ชมงานสดชื่นขึ้นได้อย่างประหลาด\nและไม่มีที่ใดที่คุณจะเห็นภาพนี้ได้นอกจากที่นี่… โดย เคียวโกะ อาเบะ \n============== \n私の愛する釜石\n1998 年に初めてアコ画廊で個展を開いて以来、バンコク在住 日本人アーテスト恭子さんの人気は確実に上昇中。 今では世界中に彼女の作品のコレクターが散らばっている。 もとイラストレーターだった、恭子さんの独特な色と表現方法は絵に触れるものに笑みを与えてくれる。 恭子さんの作品の魅力は 何と言っても被写体に対する愛だろう。 愛が作品に満ち溢れている。 それが画面のあちこちに滲み出てきて、見る者に感動と共感をもたらす。\n第６回目になる今回の個展のタイトルは 『私の愛する釜石』\n東北大地震津波災害（2011 年）のあったのちに出来た、釜石のコスモス公園に２０１３年より一年かけて ８Ｘ４３メートルという巨大壁画を描きあげた。 何度も釜石にでかけ、地元や日本全国から駆け付けたボランテイの協力を得て、今年の 3 月に無事完成。 全国の多くのＴＶもその模様が報道された。この希望の大壁画は電車やハイウエイからも眺めることができる。 素晴らしい釜石のランド マークとなってきている。\nあんな大きな壁画が完成出来たのも、釜石で出会った人々の愛情だった。 そして恭子さんも、釜石が大好きでたまらなくなった。 今回は釜石で出会った風景や人々を思い切り描きあげました。\nタイトルの私の愛する釜石は 1 x 2 メートルのキャンバス 4 枚の堂々たる大きさです。 釜石の春夏秋冬です。 きっと今まで皆様がどこでも見たことがない 明るい日本の四季が描かれております。
